Each release of Fettercairn single malt whisky showcases a maturation journey that enhances the tropical distillery character derived from our unique copper cooling ring distillation process.

2023 saw the first release from our Warehouse collection with the arrival of Warehouse 14 Batch No.001 which was crafted from a hand-picked selection of ex-bourbon barrels and local beer barrels; filled with spirit that flowed from the Fettercairn stills in 2016 and has since been maturing in Fettercairn Warehouse 14.

COLOUR: Natural colour of shimmering gold.
TASTE: Vanilla, myriads of enticing tropical fruits, honey and floral charm.
FINISH: Warm toasty maltiness, tropical fruits with layers of crème caramel, apricot tart, cacao, soft wood spices and a pleasing nuttiness.

The fourth release in The Collection, Warehouse 2 Batch No.004 has been crafted using a handpicked selection of first and second fill American and Hungarian oak casks; filled with spirit that flowed from the Fettercairn stills in 2014 and has since been maturing in Fettercairn Warehouse 2.

COLOUR: Natural colour of golden honey.
TASTE: Notes of Madagascan vanilla, poached pears and cracked pepper.
FINISH: Toffee, honey and rich nuttiness. Vibrant yet elegant balance of honey dew melon, passion fruit, burnished citrus and sweet oak wood.

Although prices of a lot whisky’s are going through the roof nowadays, it doesn’t always have to cost a fortune to find a nice, non-standard whisky.

Most of the time we offer older, more exclusive, pricier bottles, but we thought it to be fun to go and look for some more affordable bottles, where you don’t need to worry about the loss of investment when opening them.

Irish whiskey is rapidly becoming more popular and I wouldn’t be surprised if it overtakes Scotch as the most popular whisky in the world. Irish whiskey does not have the restrictions that Scotch has.
