Rosebank 21y Innocence
Sukhinder Sing of the The Whisky Exchange and Elixir Distillers present his 2nd bottling of this magical and legendary distillery, after his Rosebank True Love from 2017. The stocks of this closed distillery are rare.
Hereby the tasting notes of Sukhinder himself:
Nose: A beautifully fragrant nose of fresh sweet fruit: peaches, white grape and lychees come to mind, the intensity of which develops further into a deliciously aromatic mix of fruit salad with exotic mango and papaya. Meadow grass and flowers give depth to the aromatic character and evoke memories of warm spring days.
Palate: A soft and fruity sweetness reminiscent of freshly picked orchard apples intertwines with delicately balanced notes of sugared almonds and warming spice. Creamy notes develop, providing a rich canvas that the other flavours play out against. With time and a drop of water, the fruit builds, dominating the spice.
Finish: Sweet malty notes peppered with notes of light spice and nutmeg. The spice lingers, slowly fading to leave sweet cream and malty toffee.
