GlenAllachie 12Y Moscatel Wood Finish is a delightfull fruity whisky, which has undergone an initial maturation in premium American oak ex-bourbon casks for over 8 years.
To enhance its complexity, the spirit was then transferred to specially selected Moscatel casks for a finishing period of more than 42 months.
Moscatel, a highly aromatic dessert wine from Portugal, imparts floral aromas along with a smooth and silky taste. With its distinctive notes of fresh fruits and rich caramel, this bronze-hued malt is meant to be savored.
