Description
Billy Walker specially selected this whisky. It is a limited release of 1,800 cases. The whisky first matured in bourbon casks before finishing in Premier Cru Classé wine casks. Aged in Speyside, it is non-chill filtered and contains no added coloring.
Each stage of maturation adds unique characteristics. The influence of the oak, toast level, and cooperage craftsmanship enhance its depth. This French oak was previously used for wine, shaped by the grape variety and terroir. As a result, the whisky develops rich, layered flavors.
The casks come from one of the five Premier Cru Classé châteaux in Bordeaux. This wine region is world-famous for its exceptional quality.
