Blended Grains
Blended Grain Whisky is a whisky style made by combining grain whiskies from multiple distilleries. Unlike single grain whisky, which comes from one distillery, blended grain whisky merges different grain whisky expressions to create a smooth, balanced character. Typically lighter and more delicate than malt whisky, it is often used in blended whisky but can also be bottled independently. This style allows for a wide range of flavors, influenced by the types of grains used—such as corn, wheat, or rye—and the aging process in various casks.
