Glen Moray à la Belge – Exclusive Pre-order

Glen Moray cask stencilling

Yippppiiiiieeeeeeiekayheee!!!

Today we started our exclusive pre-orders for the 2nd edition of ‘Whisky à la Belge’. Everyone who subscribed to our newsletter and/or bought our first edition ‘Arran à la Belge’ should have received a code to order one box of the new ‘Glen Moray à la Belge’.

We really like to thank all those who backed us when we started this endeavor. It has been a challenging and bumpy road, but we managed to bottle once again a unique, bold Single Malt Whisky with a very unusual Belgian twist. So enjoy the exclusive pre-sales.

Because of the limited character of these releases we limit the sales to 1 box per person.

For all those who aren’t part of the selected few, yet, don’t worry. Subscribe to our newsletter and you will be informed when sales are open for you and next release you will be on that list of the pre-orders.

Whisky à la Belge II in development

Let’s give you all a sneak preview of things to come.

sdr

On the right hand side you can see the original Single Malt Scotch whisky. In the middle the first 6 month sample of the same undisclosed Single Malt finishing on a rare Kriek Cantillon butt. And finally, on the left hand side you have a nicely, natural colored whisky in shades of  orange, pink and amber.

Extremely rare coming soon!

Waiting for confirmation on my allocation and delivery, but if all goes well the following will be available soon, but probably just one or two bottles per brand:

  • Bunnahabhain 44yo  42.4% – Single Cask – 492 bottles
  • Imperial 28yo 40,8% – small batch of 5 bourbon barrels – 600 bottles

Don’t miss out on these beauties!

Bowmore 16yo at cask strenght

I’m not often blown away by expensive bottles, because they don’t live up to expectations. Often the big price difference with other average priced quality bottles is not justified by more flavour sensations. Most of the time it’s the iconic brands, the collectability, the investment value, the closed distillery status,… that pushes the prices up.

As some people may know I am a big fan of Teeling Distillery because of their fruity whiskies they tend to produce. Well, this Bowmore seems Single Cask Teeling Whiskey with an additional smoke and peated layer wrapping the whole thing together. If you are looking for exotic, fruity, smoked & peated whisky then this is it. At cask strenght it’s a fully bodied whisky that lingers on.
