Spirits in the Sky, the spirits festival organised by The Nectar in Brussels, last weekend was a blast. As usual we buy in or at least try to buy in some great new stuff that has just been or will be released soon. There is plenty on our wish list, but we like to give you the change to make reservations on these 2 as we expect these will fly out of the door.

Third time’s a …
OK, we’ll be honest. The first two editions of this Whisky à la Belge project were charms too… but we are very proud to present: the charm of all charms! Ardmore à la Belge.
Why are we so proud? Well, even more than the previous editions, we sailed to unknown shores with this one. A partnership with Brouwerij Het Nest resulted in a very unique marriage of Scotch and a Belgian Imperial Stout.

As everyone knows by now whisky from Springbank and Glengyle are hard to get your hands on. We managed to get our hands on Longrow 18yo, Kilkerran 16yo and Campbeltown Loch Blended Malt Scotch.

Their is something about Cadenhead’s. Ever since we came in touch with this independent bottler we love the stuff they make.
We got a small selection of their latest releases from the Original Collection. The Original range is the newest effort from Cadenhead’s who tend to have an assortment of styles and labels in a vast array of releases across each year. The Original range is about value, availability and showcasing all manner of distilleries in a natural presentation with the strength reduced to 46%.
Of course all whisky’s are natural colour and unchill filtered.

Thistle richt ‘Dé Gust’ op, de eerste, publieke, Nederlandstalige proefclub in Brussel.
Onze focus ligt vooral op sterk gestookte dranken, maar bieren, wijnen en andere komen nu en dan ook aan bod. Uiteraard is de passie voor al dit lekkers slechts een goed excuus om samen leuke avonden te beleven.
Op een laagdrempelige wijze trachten we liefhebbers meer kennis te geven over geschiedenis, productiemethodes en vooral smaak.
Wij organiseren zelf proeverijen, maar organiseren even goed uitstappen naar stokerijen, brouwerijen, beurzen en festivals.
