GlenAllachie 9Y – Fino Sherry Cask Finish

Description

Fino is the driest style of Sherry. It has a pale color and a delicate flavor. To create Fino, the wine matures for at least two years under a “flor,” a yeast layer that prevents oxidation.

This GlenAllachie single malt matured in former Fino hogshead casks. The result is a whisky with rich flavors of stewed pear, sugared almonds, and vanilla custard.

We present this release as part of The Wood Collection. It has a high strength of 48% ABV, natural color, and no chill filtration. This allows the whisky’s unique character to speak for itself.
