Description
Creations is a vatted malt or like we need to say nowadays a blended malt. So it consists only single malt scotch, but from different distilleries. This might give you a more complex whisky, because you blend different whisky profiles together.
This Creations was created and bottled by Scotlands oldest independent bottler, Cadenhead’s. This 26yo blended malt is from a single cask vatted together in 2006 containing whisky fromthe following distilleries: Aultmore, Braes of Glenlivet, Bruichladdich, Glen Grant, Glenlivet, Strathisla and Tamdhu..
It is bottled at 43,8% and produced only 450 bottles worldwide.
Official tasting notes:
Nose: Heather, brown sugar, banana loaf, mint, cocktail cherries and tropical fruits
Palate: Peaches, raisins, pan fried pineapple, tinned pears and dark chaocolate
Finish: Custard creams, plums and parma ham
